Mediac Communications and Exhibitions LLC are once again organising the 'Fabulous Four' tandem events, Agri Business Expo Middle East 2005, Middle East Flower and Garden Show GARDENEX 2005, Middle East Poultry Show 2005 and the Middle East Aquaculture and Fishing Show 2005.
'If the success of the event in the past few years is anything to go by, we are certain to have a large participation this year as well. We expect close to 100 exhibitors from more than 30 countries to participate in the event in order to tap into the lucrative Middle Eastern markets with their ranges of innovative products. The 'Fabulous Four' events present an ideal opportunity to explore new business opportunities and to platform the latest scientific advancements in the fields of floriculture, poultry, aquaculture and agri-business,' said Abdulla A. Abulhoul, Director, Mediac Communications and Exhibitions LLC.
The Agri Business Expo has played a pivotal role in the development of the agricultural sector by introducing modern technology and equipment to producers in the Middle East region. Now in its ninth year, the exhibition features a wide range of agri-related products and activities including date cultivation, general farming, landscaping methods, agri-chemical use, the latest garden implements, horticultural aids and pest control methods.
'GARDENEX Middle East Flower and Garden Show is a specialised floriculture show, featuring cut flowers, flower care equipment, flower arrangements and related areas. The event is of particular significance in Dubai with the establishment of the US $300 million 'Dubai Flower Center', which is a world-class redistribution hub. This show is set to attract exhibitors from Thailand, Malaysia, Kenya, South Africa, Holland, France, Brazil and Venezuela, and is viewed as key to the floriculture industry in the Middle East,' added Abulhoul.
The Middle East has one of the largest poultry product markets in the world, and the Middle East Poultry Show is aimed at promoting the region's booming poultry industry. Several local and international dairy, poultry and animal feed companies will participate in the event, exhibiting a range of products and technologies, including the latest incubators, humidifiers, vaccine manufacturing technology and poultry processing equipment.
The Middle East Aquaculture and Fishing Show will highlight the latest fishing and fish farming methods available to producers in the Middle East. The focus of the event will be on hatcheries, fish farming, fishing equipment, processing methods such as fish skinning and scaling, fish feed, diagnostic services and others.
Last year's 'Fabulous Four' expo featured 78 exhibitors from 28 countries and attracted nearly 5,000 professional visitors from Europe, Iran, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Gulf countries. The event is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, UAE, the Dubai Flower Center and the Flower and Plant Industry Association of the UAE.
'Participants in this year's show will not only see the latest tools and technological developments available to them, they will also be able to network with industry professionals and attend a series of specialised symposiums being held during the event,' concluded Abulhoul.

The Middle East region's strong agri-business, floriculture, poultry, aquaculture and fishing industries will again be highlighted at a series of exhibitions being held from April 18 to 21, 2005 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
