Nokia delivers multimedia messaging solution to ALJAWAL

Deliveries have already begun and the service is expected to be launched nationwide during first half 2005 - making it the first MMS service in Saudi Arabia.

With the launch of the commercial MMS service, ALJAWAL will be able to offer its' 9.6 million mobile subscribers services such as person-to-person MMS, which is a greatly enriched version of SMS with the capability of sending video clips, pictures and voice or sounds combined with text messages.
