Emirates to add 100 planes

Emirates Airline will receive 100 new aircraft by 2012, adding an aircraft a month for the next eight years, according to VP commercial operations Gaith Al Gaith reported in Gulf News. Existing orders are due for delivery by 2012-13 and may not be enough to meet future demand, he said. The airline is expected to announce strong profits for its financial year ending March 31.
