DCCI receives Gold Coast City Council Delegation

Dubai chamber of Commerce and industry (DCCI) received Gold Coast city delegation headed by Honorable Mayor and Mayoress of the city the accompanying delegation combined H.E. Ian Solomon President of Gold Coast City Council Chamber and businessmen from the maritime sector.
Mr. Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair the first Vice President of DCCI welcomed the delegation in his speech and showcased the diversified opportunities in Dubai he said " Wide spectrums of business opportunities exists in Dubai and in our region for Gold Coast City companies engaged in trading, export of manufactured goods, construction, financial services, tour operators, travel and transport Companies, consultancy services, tourism and many other business opportunities".
Mr. Ian made a presentation explaining major opportunities in Gold Coast city the mission and the objectives of the city. He pointed to receiving 4 million tourists last year and some similarities between Dubai and Gold Coast City.
Short Documentary on opportunities in Gold Coast and nature of the business environment, facilities, and services provided to the companies and investors in order to attract investments.
At the end of the meeting Mr. Abdulrahman Al Ghurair signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the DCCI and Gold Coast City Council Chamber. Al Ghurair hoped the Memorandum will be evolution point in enhancing the relationship further and increase the bilateral trade.
The volume of non oil bilateral trade reached 2.3 billion Dirhams in 2003 comparing with 1.6 billion Dirhams in year 2000.
