Norway aids Iraq oil industry

Norway will help get Iraq's oil industry back on its feet through a USD3.3m training and technology programme, according to a Norwegian government spokesman. Aid could include training and education for Iraqi oil officials, setting up regulations for oil field operations and accounting. Norway is the world's third-largest oil exporter with a capacity of 3.2m bpd.
