A new report, "An analysis of FM Radio Listening Patterns in Saudi Arabia" was released to the Arab Advisors Group's Media Strategic Research Services subscribers on November 18, 2004. This report can be purchased from the Arab Advisors Group for only US$ 250. The 7-pages report, which has 13 detailed exhibits, analyses the Saudi FM radio listening habits based on a major survey of listeners in Saudi Arabia. The report includes differences of listening by gender, age as well as the most listened to stations in the country.
Any investment in this report will count towards an annual Strategic Research Service subscription should the service be acquired within three months from purchasing the report.
The investment can also count towards attending Arab Advisors' second annual Media and Telecoms Convergence Conference on June 11 & 12 2005. Alternatively contact the Arab Advisors Group for full information on the conference, agenda and sponsorship opportunities.
"Our research shows that the majority of surveyed radio listeners tune in to music and news programs that occupy the top two choices. Males seem to prefer news and music programs while females seem to prefer talk shows and social programs. People below 35 years of age make up the largest component of those that listen to the radio 2-5 times per week and daily." Judeh Siwady, Arab Advisors Research Analyst said. "A somewhat surprising 30% actually listen to the radio via satellite receivers." Mr. Siwady added.
