- PRESS RELEASE
Estarta Solutions, a leading regional IT solutions company partially owned by Microsoft and Cisco, is going to market with a world class eTaxation product (TAGDEER), which allows governments in the region to provide e-taxation services as part of eGovernment programs.
As a leading regional IT solutions innovator, Estarta Solutions signed a milestone agreement last year with Microsoft Corporation to develop innovative solutions that help in advancing the Public Sector in the region. "TAGDEER" was developed while taking into consideration the differences that might occur between countries' adopted taxation laws and regulations. It is also designed to handle the different types of taxes applied in different countries, such as sales and income taxes. "We provide our clients with high value, industry specific software solutions that help them succeed, this includes proprietary products that we and our international partners invest in developing locally", comments Rimawi. This strategy has been successful in ensuring Estarta's continued growth and profitability.
The products specifications were approved by Microsoft. "The product leverages advanced Microsoft technologies and meets the highest security and reliability standards, states Zeid Shubailat, the Country Manager of Microsoft Jordan.
Estarta Solutions led a number of successful projects across the region by providing advanced IT solutions to clients in the public sector, financial services, telecommunications and other major industries. In addition, Estarta Solutions began its new line of support services through launching a technical support center last year, catering to enterprise Cisco Systems clients worldwide. Through its commitment to provide world-class solutions to a large client-base in the region, Estarta Solutions became a leading IT solutions provider throughout the Arab Middle East.
"Based on several regional Tax Solution implementations, we have helped Governments succeed with improvements in processes and automation through a flexible modular platform", says Basil Qubein, Director of Microsoft Public Sector Innovation Center.
