ENOC hosts major industry gathering in Singapore

ENOC Singapore hosted a gala industry gathering in one of the Lion City's leading hotels last week as part of a customer-relationship building initiative.

Staged to coincide with the Asia Pacific Petroleum Exhibition & Conference, (APPEC), one of the industry's leading international events, the guest list boasted hundreds of decision-makers from 188 companies, spanning 14 countries across Australia, Europe, the Far East, India, Middle and Near East, the UK and USA.

A top-level delegation from the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) Group's headquarters in Dubai were in Singapore to receive guests to the reception at the Westin Stamford Hotel. The delegation included Hussain Sultan, Group Chief Executive and Board Member and Tayyeb Al Mulla, Chief Executive, ENOC International Refining and Marketing.

"Guests included management from some of the biggest names in the energy, oil and gas, banking, terminalling, trade development and transportation sectors," explained Hussain Sultan. "Members of specialist trade media were also present."

The guest list included representatives of ADNOC, Bahrain National Oil Company, BP, BNP Paribas, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Caltex, Chevron, Conoco, Cosmo Oil, Credit Agricole Indosuez, Credit Lyonnais, Enron, ExxonMobil, Idemitsu Kosan, Koch Industries, LG-Caltex, Mitsui, Marubeni, Morgan Stanley, National Iranian Oil Company, Nippon-Mitsubishi Oil, Petronas, Pertamina, SABIC, Saudi Arabian Oil Company, Shell, SK Energy, Statoil, the Singapore Trade Development Board (STDB), Texaco, TotalFinaElf and Vopak Terminals.

"We held the event alongside APPEC to maximise our reach and attendance and succeeded in generating a considerable amount of goodwill," added Sultan.
