Malcolm Cooper, Group Business Manager for Gargash Enterprises, collected the award alongside Mark Austin, Gargash Enterprises Sales Manager.
The award recognises the integral role car dealerships, importers and distributors form in the success of HSBC MEFCO. "Without their support, we would not really have a business," said Raymond O'Neil, Managing Director of HSBC MEFCO, on presentation of the award.
"It was a tough choice, but the HSBC Middle East Finance Company Top Dealership was awarded to Gargash Enterprises not only because of their performance in 2004, but also because of their vision, their commitment to service excellence and the innovation they have demonstrated to grow their business," continued Mr.O'Neil.
Gargash Enterprises achieved the highest ever sales of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars in the Middle East in 2004. Their success has been attributed to the suite of financing packages they offer, each tailored to the needs of each customer.
On receiving the award, Mr.Cooper said "As the only financer in the Middle East to share our retail finance vision, HSBC MEFCO is our first choice. They allow us to make it easier for customers to finance Mercedes-Benz, therefore, making it more affordable."
