Batelco opens new-look BCC shop
- Bahrain: Monday, March 28 - 2005 at 16:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Bahrain's national telecommunications company has announced the official opening of its newly transformed Batelco Commercial Centre retail outlet, which is the latest in a series of shop openings that form part of the company's commitment to providing customers with the very best in products, service and convenience.
"As Bahrain's national telecommunications company, it is appropriate that our new branding reflects the colours and design of the Bahraini flag and waves which signify the water surrounding our Kingdom," explains Ian Dench, General Manager - Sales & Marketing at Batelco.
"Over the 15 months since we unveiled our branding, our striking red and white design has become a mark of quality for our customers. This re-branding exercise is part of a company-wide brand engagement programme designed to ensure that both employees and customers benefit from the fresh new look and customer-focused ethos of Batelco."
The Batelco Commercial Centre has played a central role in the history of the company and served as a landmark for both residents and visitors to the country.
"Our BCC retail outlet is in an important location to serve both individuals and business customers due to its location in the heart of Manama Souq and surrounding business district," explains Ian. "The opening of Batelco's newly refurbished BCC outlet marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of this important customer contact point."
The re-designed BCC retail outlet is the eighth newly branded retail shop opened by Batelco over the last 15 months. A development programme that started last year witnessed the opening of Batelco's new Seef Mall outlet in February 2004. That was followed by openings at Bahrain International Airport, Al Alawi, Hamad Town, Arad, and now the refurbishment of the Batelco Commercial Centre outlet."
Batelco is currently planning the refurbishments of its General Organization of Social Insurance (GOSI), Isa Town and Bahrain Mall outlets and the relocation of its Muharraq & Riffa outlets in order to provide more convenient locations and better facilities for customers.
