The exhibition, which will run from May 14-24, features artists who will demonstrate techniques from some of the world's top brands including Swarovski, Baccarat, Daum, Bernardaud, Wedgwood and Christofle.

The work of celebrated Austrian crystal producer Swarovski gets the ball rolling on May 14th with an exhibition of stone setting, which will be repeated a week later.

Starting May 15th, and running for two days, artists set their talents to work with a flower display using products from prestigious French gifts and jewellery producer Baccarat.

On May 17th and 18th the delicate 'demoullage' mould-breaking process of esteemed French glassmaker Daum takes centre stage.

Those with a sweet tooth can celebrate on May 19th with a chocolate tasting session with samples beautifully displayed on the exclusive porcelain and china of French producer Bernardaud.

The best of British tableware take priority on May 20th when table-setting techniques using the UK's eminent Wedgwood products are demonstrated.

The final three days of the exhibition are devoted to displays of engraving found uniquely on the tableware of famed French producer Christofle.

"The exhibition will give visitors a greater insight into the craftsmanship which goes into producing these beautiful product ranges," said Audrey D'Mello, Assistant Retail Marketing Manager, Allied Enterprises LLC, which owns and operates the Tanagra brand.

"We choose Wafi City for the exhibition because it is home to our flagship Tanagra store."

Wafi City, is one of the emirate's leading retail complexes featuring more than 220 of the world's finest retailers, including top name designers, fabulous gold and diamonds, the luxury Cleopatra's Spa, the Pyramids sports and leisure complex and some of the most enticing restaurants in the city.

"The Tanagra exhibition comes at an exciting time for Wafi City with shoppers spending Dhs500 at any of our outlets, or in Cleopatra's Spa before the end of June being in with a chance of winning an all-inclusive mini-break at Dubai's exclusive, eco-tourism Al Maha desert resort," explained Moira Billington, Marketing Manager, Wafi City.
