Kuwait, 100,000 bpd increase

An oil gathering centre in Kuwait, which was only reopened in January after a 2002 fire, will raise capacity by 150,000 barrels to 250,000 bpd by April, reported Reuters. The Kuwait Oil Company is building a gas booster unit and 117km pipeline to carry crude to an export terminal in southern Kuwait from the centre.
