Biometrics defeats identity fraud
The US and the Middle East are leading the market in biometric identity adoption, ahead of Europe and Asia, with fingerprints the dominant biometric due to high accuracy and convenience. Tony Murphy, COO, Daon, says that unlike James Bond's false fingertips in Diamonds are Forever, today's advanced technology would not be fooled by fake prints.
