Lufthansa links with Gulf News and Dubai FM to offer a 'Ticket-a-Day'
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, May 12 - 2002 at 12:34
- PRESS RELEASE
Lufthansa German Airlines are offering a fly drive with a difference, with 31 chances to win a flight to Europe offered every day from May 10 to June 9 2002.
To take part, special Lufthansa 'Munich here we come!!' stickers will be distributed with Gulf News for subscribers on 10 May and with news trade copies on every Saturday and Wednesday until 8 June. These stickers should be placed visibly in car windows. Lufthansa 'spotters' will be looking out for the stickers in cars across the Emirates, and everyday of the competition one lucky number plate will be announced in Gulf News, on Dubai FM English 92.0 and Dubai FM Arabic 93.9.
"We've trebled the chances of discovering who is a winner - get Gulf News, listen out to Dubai FM English, Dubai FM Arabic, or check out Lufthansa's website to find out who has won the trip of their choice to Europe," said Uwe Wriedt, Lufthansa General Manager, Passenger Sales for UAE and Director for Gulf, Iran and Pakistan. "With a selection of over 70 destinations in 29 countries across Europe served by Lufthansa, the only thing difficult about winning this competition is deciding where to go."
There are a total of 31 chances to win, with a winner a day to be announced by Dubai FM and Gulf News and a bonus two flights a week up for grabs through a simple quiz on Dubai FM Arabic 93.9. Winning number plates will also be listed on Lufthansa's website at: (www.lufthansa.com). Winners then have until 12 noon on the day their number plate is published in Gulf News to come forward and claim their prize. Winning tickets will be valid for travel until 31 December 2002. Only cars with UAE license plates can take part.
