Madinat Jumeirah shakes up traditional fitness
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, March 20 - 2005 at 15:11
- PRESS RELEASE
The Quay Health Club at Madinat Jumeirah -the Arabian Resort- Dubai, United Arab Emirates is the first resort in Dubai to offer the latest technological advancement in health and fitness.
Power-Plate generates vibrations that are transferred from the platform to the body. And these vibrations train every muscle group of the entire body. Standing on power-Plate makes the body automatically adjust to these mechanical stimuli. Muscles will contract and expand 30 to 50 times per second, depending on vibration selected.
Compared to traditional training methods, exercises performed on Power-Plate achieve better results in less time -only 10-Minutes- and with no extra effort.
More strength, more speed and more stamina as well as rapid recovery of muscles and tissue, increased flexibility, mobility and coordination. Power-Plate offers a wide range of possibilities for use in the areas of Sports, Fitness, Beauty, Wellness, Health and Rehabilitation.
"Vibration Technology has been so interesting to me as a new technology that I have integrated it in all my clients training programs. People just walk off this unit and feel juiced. So that's been great, especially if it's a deconditioned person. For deconditioned people they're able to become aware of different parts of their musculature. I think it's exciting and new and I throw every body one it. "Functional training" has become such a buzzword. This is the ultimate way to functional train." said Ammar Sabbah, Personal Trainer Jordan.
"If the medical world already integrate the Power-Plate to combat against Osteoporosis and professional athletes, Olympic teams and celebrities train on it, Power-Plate should be working. Exercising on this Hi-Tech machine is a boon to the modern day man and woman." said Nelke van Aspert, Managing Director, Power-Plate Middle East.
