DCCI receives CII delegation

Headed by Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal the president of CII among with Mr. K. Kutty the chairman of CII small industry council and Mr. N. Srinivasan director general of CII. Mr. Yash Sinha Consul General of India and Mr. Tariq H. Lootah Director of Trade and Industrial Development Department attended the meeting.

The meeting aims to exchange ideas and viewpoints on topics related to industry and Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs). It searched ways of enhancing and strengthens the relationship between DCCI and CII in the future.

The CII's president showcased the services offered by the confederation such as industrial diversification and developing SMEs. He indicated the importance of the long and historical Indian Emirati relationship and assured the relation's clarity through the volume of bilateral trade and the economic partnership between the two countries. He highlighted the huge economical development in India mentioning the government plan to build up 28 new airports and the continuous development of infrastructure.

H.E. Al Ghurair exposed Dubai as regional and international business hub he said" Dubai Government policy in opening the market created the strongest competitive environment in the region" this is reflected positively on the local economy by creating competitive products and services. He assured that Dubai business environment is typical model to business evolution offering wide spectrum of opportunities.

Mr. Munjal mentioned the CII conation in organizing fair or exhibition in Dubai to promote Indian products and services. He invited DCCI to visit India to recognize the latest economic developments and updates.

H.E. Al Ghurair highlighted the necessity of organizing a seminar to promote the industrial investment opportunities, activities and services offered by CII as well as exposing the potential trade opportunities.

At the end of the meeting HE. Al Ghurair expressed the DCCI's readiness to support CII and all business communities as a part of its interest in developing the business communities and trade relationships.
