International fashion gurus for Mid East's largest wedding expo

Some of the world's hottest designers from France, Italy and Lebanon are due in Dubai next month (April) for the unveiling of their latest collections at The Bride Show Dubai 2005, the Middle East's largest and most distinguished exhibition for wedding day organisers and brides-to-be.

Atelier Aimee Montenapoleone and GBF Collezioni Sposa Milano from Italy, Parisien design house Cymbeline and Tony Ward and Antonios Couture from the highly renowned Lebanese Designers House will light the stage when they present their finest wedding dresses on the catwalk at this year's show, at the Dubai International Exhbition Centre from April 12-15.

"This year will not only be the biggest bride show in the event's eight-year history but also the most exciting and entertaining, " said Charlotte Proudman, Event Manager, The Bride Show Dubai 2005.

"We have received a lot of interest from international designers who are keen to target the lucrative Middle East wedding market. "

Atelier Aimee Montenapoleone and GBF Collezioni Sposa Milano are both prestigious Italian companies in the wedding dress business and their designs are distributed to top boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and London. The leading Parisien design house Cymebline has bridal boutiques in over 10 countries. Tony Ward and Antonios Couture are both the hottest names off the catwalk from Lebanon.

"The wedding industry is one of the fastest growing areas within the UAE's thriving tourism sector and is reaching a level of sophistication that allows it to target the international market, " added Proudman.

Apart from European and Lebanese fashion houses, well renowned designers from the sub-continent such as Rina Latif and Sagar Couture will also be in the limelight this month when they get ready to present their latest collections at this year's largest wedding extravaganza.
