Mohammed Bin Rashid Awards supported by Abbasi Group

The group announced that it will be one of the main sponsors of the prestigious Mohammed Bin Rashid Awards for Young Business Leaders. These are organised by the Government of Dubai's Development and Investment Authority and held under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE Defence Minister.

The awards ceremony, which this year has been scheduled for April 5, has become established as one of the high points on Dubai's social calendar and is attended by the cream of the country's business community. The Abbasi group, in line with its policy of supporting business excellence, has agreed to put up the prize for one of the highest category of awards - the Best Retail Business - an area in which it is an acknowledged leader in the region. It operates the high profile Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf brand throughout the Middle East.

The awards program is categorized by industries which will culminate in the "Best Business Leader Awards - Male and Female." Ismail Akil Abbasi, Chairman of the Abbasi Group, has agreed to act as one of the panel of distinguished business leaders who will select the winner of the top award, for the Best male Business Leader.
