- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, April 03 - 2005 at 12:14
- PRESS RELEASE
Emirates Glass, a Dubai Investment Group subsidiary and one of the leading quality glass manufacturers in the region, has announced that the company's production capacity has doubled following the commissioning of the three new state-of-the-art machinery and the forced convection furnace at a total cost of AED16 million.
During the last quarter of 2004, an ultra-modern Lisec automatic glass-cutting table, a second Lisec double glazing line equipped with the latest edge deletion facility and upgrade of sealing robot and a Schiatti double-edger and four-holed drilling station were installed and commissioned. The company's forced convection furnace is recognized as the largest tempering furnace in the world.
"With the doubling of output, Emirates Glass will be able to further expand its sales and market reach to hitherto unexplored areas. We have already set an incredible pace of growth and we are sure our production capabilities and unmatched quality will be noticed at the global level," said Mr. Ziad Yazbeck, Sales and Marketing Director.
The commissioning of these formidable equipment and machinery is expected to enable Emirates Glass to guarantee continuous and highest professional service to its clients and meet delivery schedules.
Emirates Glass recently won major contracts in Dubai to supply its premium EmiCool Sun NN Green, EmiCool Sun NN Blue Screen and the resilient CR 14 Blue products to three prestigious construction projects.
The company will be participating in the Rebuild Iraq Exhibition in Amman, Jordan, from April 4 - 7, 2005 in order to play a bigger role in that country's reconstruction efforts.
