ABN AMRO launches training programme designed exclusively for its UAE national employees

ABN AMRO has launched a customized training programme designed exclusively for the benefit of its UAE national employees. The training programme is conceived and conducted by winner of the Sheikh Mohammed Entrepreneur's (SME) Award for 'Consulting & Business Services Of The Year' & 'Entrepreneur of The Year' 2004 , Mr.Ahmad Tahlak.

The training programme will be instrumental in imparting key skills that are central to the job profiles of the UAE nationals, hone their professional competencies and assist in refining their core expertise.

A total of 85 are participating in this extensive in-house training programme, which will go on for a period of four months.

The training sessions will comprise numerous workshops, individual and team exercises, lecture sessions and specially crafted simulation techniques.

ABN AMRO, the well known European bank known for its specialized advisory services, qualified personal bankers and high service levels, has been at the forefront of learning and development initiatives in the UAE. This is the second time that the bank has launched an extensive training programme tailor-made for its UAE national employees.

Mr. Arif Sayed, Head of Human Resources, ABN AMRO UAE, said: "The high service level offered is a key element in the success of ABN AMRO, and this is something we are constantly building on. This tightly tailored training programme will help the participants to maximise their operational potential by further enhancing their quality of service".

He added: "These training sessions are a part of our commitment to the development of our most important asset- our people. ABN AMRO also believes and remains committed to the promotion and development of the local community in general, and its UAE national employees in particular.

Mr. Ahmad Tahlak, a UAE national himself, and Chief Consultant of Dubai-based The TeleServices Company, said: "We believe that high morale, effective communication, motivation and knowing they are highly valued are all critical factors for a strong and contented workforce. The workshop has been specifically designed with these key objectives in mind."

The participants of the training programme will be awarded a course completion certificate at a graduation ceremony in September that will be attended by key personalities from the government and private sectors.
