Fujitsu Siemens Computers launches SCENICVIEW Display Suite in Middle East
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, April 03 - 2005 at 14:19
- PRESS RELEASE
Fujitsu Siemens Computers has announced the launch in the Middle East of three new LCD-monitor product lines developed to meet the different needs of professional users, following their highly successful initial launch at CeBIT 2005.
According to ergonomic studies, a flat screen monitor must be optimally adjusted to suit the user's requirements. In order to ensure a proper and relaxed posture, the exclusively-designed SCENICVIEW displays can minimise the distance from the bottom line of the screen to the desk down to 60 mm, which complies with the latest ergonomic recommendations. Furthermore, the extended tilt angle prevents painful neck tension and support wearers of vari-focal glasses.
"The new SCENICVIEW Premium Line (P17-2, P19-2 and P20-2) has been designed to meet the needs of the most demanding users. The Premium Line's S-PVA with 8-bit colour depth and ADCC technology guarantees bright colours, optimised grey scaling and fast grey-to-grey re-sponse times, while offering the perfect conditions for working with professional graphics as well as Multimedia- and CAD-applications," said Susanne Lewitzki, Product Marketing Manager, Fu-jitsu Siemens Computers.
"Its viewing angle of 178/178 degrees ensures even greater clarity, offering an impressive pic-ture experience. In addition, the user has the option to turn the monitor 90 degrees into the por-trait format, which optimizes the usability for type-writing programs and web applications," she added.
The Premium Line is available in screen sizes of 17, 19 and 20 inches and as an option; the P19-2 is also available with an elegant black frame.
The iF Design Award 2005 proves that the Premium Line impresses not only because of its technical features but also because of its design. In addition, the SCENICVIEW IT Suite will in-clude, from May 2005, a comprehensive manageability software package, which includes the programs Display View, PivotPro and LiquidView.
Equipped with a DDC CI-interface, not only can the inventory data be readout, it also makes the Premium Line displays ready for manageability tasks like remote administration.
The SCENICVIEW Business Line (B17-2 and B19-2) models, which are available in 17 and 19 inches, introduces the double hinge height adjustment concept into its exclusive design. This feature, with its extended tilt functionality, allows ergonomic adjustment of the display depend-ing on the user, enabling a height adjustment range of 75mm. The Business Line also intro-duces the rear cover and a cable guide as a 'tidy desk' solution.
The SCENICVIEW Value Line (A15-1 and A17-1) products, which are available in 15 and 17 inches, are particularly recommended as entry level TFT-displays to replace classic CRT-monitors. Users will enjoy the unquestionable benefits of Thin Film Transistor (TFT) over Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) due to their lower power consumption, extended life and reduced desk space requirements.
