UAE online freedom
The UAE's education minister recently called for full freedom of information, with self-censorship replacing government restrictions on print publications, TV channels and online media. AME Info asked Mohammed Omran, CEO, Etisalat, if this could signal an end to proxy-based censorship of the internet.
