'For the past couple of years we've been using a combination of swipe and proximity cards to secure our IT rooms and data centers' states ISS's Jay Gopal. The decision to recruit FESD Dubai came after ISS personnel determined that strict and staggered access rights needed to be implemented across the company's segregated departments. For instance, the company required that all of its 120 personnel maintain access to the company's front entrance/main office while only a few select employees would gain access to segregated departments and IT centers.

"But by applying biometrics that can feed accurate employee data into software which dictates where personnel should and shouldn't be, the pitfalls of more traditional security systems, such as when workers trade passwords or security cards to unauthorized staff, can be effectively eliminated."
