eCompany launches vLabs on LearnOnline e-Learning site

eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse Business Unit that provides Internet services and ICT solutions today announced the launch of vLabs at LearnOnline.ae, its e-Learning solution for individuals as well as corporate customers.
LearnOnline vLabs are provided by eCompany's strategic partner Element K Middle East. With the new vLabs, learners will have the option to select specific libraries of labs to match their interests such as A+, Security+, Microsoft advanced IT certifications such as MCSA and MCSE and Cisco certifications such as CCNA, , BSCI, BCRAN, BCMSN and CIT. Currently, learners purchase vLabs separately and in the near future vLabs will be bundled with IT certification courses.
Abdulla Hashim, Senior Manager, eCompany, welcomed the vLab service into LearnOnline and said: "The pace of change in development of IT hardware and the demand for mission-ready network engineers has created a need for constant training and certification. Skills and experience based training through vLabs develop the necessary hands-on skills while giving students confidence to face real situations and raises overall certification scores."
Susan Bodinson, General Manager, Element K Middle East, added "This is a significant enhancement to the already wide range of content available on the LearnOnline site. Now users will users be able to get the latest in IT training as well as practice what they have learned on actual hardware. This offering is the first of its kind in the Middle East region."
