DCA to host ACI Airport Safety & Crisis Management conference from April 17 - 21

Under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group, the 22nd ACI (Airports Council International) Fund Seminar will be held in Dubai between April 17 and 21, 2005 at Al Bustan Rotana.

The seminar, which is being hosted by the Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai, will focus on Airport Security and Crisis Management.

Mr Abdulla Al Ansari, Director, HR & D, DCA, commented: "This is a matter of prestige and pride for the Department of Civil Aviation, to host this seminar. ACI is holding this seminar for the first time ever in the Middle East. This is an opportunity for airport operators to come together and get the latest update on Airport Security and Crisis Management. With the ever changing face of technology it is very important that we keep abreast with all the developments. I am sure the attendees will have a very successful seminar."

Airports operators from all around the world and particularly from the region are expected to attend. Delegates will also be visiting Dubai International Airport to get a first hand view of the expansion programme.
