Abdulqader Al Khaja, Chief Executive Officer, knet and Director of ihdubai said "We have carefully analysed the merger of knet and ihdubai from all angles and have concluded that we can offer our students a more comprehensive portfolio of specialist training and educational solutions under one umbrella."

ihdubai will become the specialist language learning division of knet, offering a wide spectrum of multi level courses for both adults and young adults, who wish to learn English both accurately and fluently. ihdubai uses various topics that learners will meet in daily work (Business English programmes) and life (General English programmes), in addition to challenging tasks and communicative activities, all of which are clearly structured and measure progression.

knet is one of the region's premier, independent training and management consultancies and a leading provider of continual professional development opportunities for individuals and organisations. knet aims to fill the gap of the skills required between formal education and employment.

Mary Mayall, Director of Studies, ihdubai said "Our merger with knet strengthens ihdubai's position in the market as the leading language learning provider in the GCC. We develop our students from absolute beginner through to fluency in English language through our innovative approach to language learning. The courses offered by ihdubai perfectly complement knet's objectives in providing the highest standards in professional learning skills in the region."

Al Khaja added "knet's aim is to increase the standard of the educational and vocational training in the region and to continuously add appropriate and relevant training courses to our portfolio of professional educational courses, thereby adding value to our valuable clients business pursuits, aims and objectives.'
