Oracle to sponsor HITBSecConf2005 planned for Bahrain

Oracle is sponsoring the IT security conference, HITBSecConf2005, being held for the first time in Bahrain from 10 to13 April, ESGulf, the event's organiser announced.

Hack in The Box security conference is a leading security event for the Asian market, sponsored by the non-profit Hack In The Box organisation. The event is being held for the 5th time and the focus will be on in depth knowledge security.

Mohammad Ojaimi, business development manager, Oracle, highlighted the importance of the information industry and noted its challenges. 'Security is one of the most important issues concerning the IT world, and Oracle is always trying to support efforts in bringing more awareness to the IT society', he said.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mohammad Ojaimi, business development manger Oracle and Jorge Sebastiao, chairman ESGulf, who extended appreciation to Oracle for their support of HITBSecConf2005.
