Dubai ranks highly in convergence

Dubai has been ranked as the top Arab city for digital convergence in a report by a Rutgers University in the US. Internet penetration rate in Dubai, which stands at 39 per cent, is slightly lower than those found in most advanced economies. But mobile phone density is at 90 per cent, higher than the average in Western Europe, which is at about 80 per cent.
