UKS declares MELT a success

UKS CEO, Dr. Milad Sebaaly, gave a keynote presentation on Day 1 of the conference titled, "eLearning - Replacing or Enhancing Classroom Learning?" Dr. Sebaaly's presentation used UKS' flagship projects - ELITIS™ (eLearning "IT" in schools) and the Syrian Virtual University (SVU) - to compare and contrast the benefits of online and classroom learning models. Dr. Sebaaly concluded that "a combination of online and classroom learning is essential, but there is a host of variables that must be factored into the decision-making process when deciding what type of learning model is best for an organization or school."

UKS also hosted a press conference announcing its new partnership with the multi-national solutions company, Giunti Labs. At the press conference, Carrin Martel, Giunti Labs' International Sales Manager, presented the learn eXact, Learning Content Management System (LCMS).

Assessing the benefits of participating in MELT, Dr. Milad Sebaaly stated, "MELT gathered some of the region's top thinkers in the growing field of eLearning.
