  • PRESS RELEASE

Hong Kong and India are all set to dazzle visitors at the spring edition of watch and jewellery show in Sharjah.

Hong Kong with 60 companies and India with 26 will have their biggest number of pavilions ever at the 18th edition of MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah from April 11-15.

Famous for the invisible setting of diamonds and other precious stones with gold and platinum for pendants, earrings, bracelets etc, BK Jewellery will exhibit the finest of jewellery and precious stones from Hong Kong.

Another major participant from Hong Kong, Classic Jewelry Co is famed for jewellery which is made of 14k/18k gold and 925 sterling silver with diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones and opals. It also produces jewellery on clients' requests.

Deckwell Gold Ltd is synonymous with taper-baguette diamond jewellery and semi-mountings which are both fashionable and flexible. While fashionable means that the jewellery is updated in the markets, flexible refers to semi-mountings which can fit in any kind of stone.

Farha's from India focuses on antique jewellery in silver and gold with diamond, precious and semi-precious stones. Designed by Farhana Vohra, the collections are inspired from the bygone era - the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Unfolding the enigma of the past, the jewellery is set in silver and gold metals, using rose cut diamonds with precious and semi-precious stones.
Since the designs are European, the appeal is international.

God'diva from India will showcase the most unique collection of designer jewellery. Each piece is a sincere work of art, handpicked and handcrafted from 18k to 22k gold studded in high quality diamonds.

Other participating countries include Bahrain, Germany, Russia, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Colombia and UAE.

A major highlight of the event will be a daily raffle draw which offers 10 gold bars in its five-day run. The daily raffle draws will be held at 10pm. Two additional draws will be held exclusively for ladies on 13th and 14th April which will take place at 4pm on the two days.

Apart from this, the Hong Kong pavilion will have a promotion which offers a scratch and win competition. The prizes include earrings, mobile phones, necklace and other gift items.

While the general visiting hours are from 4pm to 10pm from April 11 to 15, only ladies will be allowed on April 13 and 14 from 10am to 4pm.

For entry, men visiting the show will have to present a trade card, a VIP or public invitation.

Children above 12 years or below one year will be allowed to enter the exhibition halls. Children above one year and below 12 years will have a dedicated play area to wait in for their parents.
