First annual conference for Radiological Society of Saudi Arabia

HRH Prince Meshaal Bin Majed Bin AbdulAziz, Governer of Jeddah will inaugurate the first RSSA annual conference which will be held in Crown Plaza Hotel, Jeddah from 15th to 17th April 2005.
The two-day conference includes scientific papers presentations, plenary and workshop sessions. The Scientific papers will be presented by national, regional & international speakers, plenary sessions will be presented by leaders in major research areas related to medicine & radiology, while workshop sessions will allow attendees to participate in "in-depth" group discussions. The session culminated in group recommendations as to the issues facing the field, major impediments to progress and the outlook for radiology in the short- and long-term.
According to RSSA president Dr. Sattam Lingawi "The Radiological society of Saudi Arabia (RSSA) is providing an opportunity for many individuals to participate in this conference in which they can focus on the issue of radiology and medical imaging".
He also added that the conference will help define the initiative and the problems facing radiology staff members working in Saudi Arabia.
RSSA Technical Exhibition during this conference will also take place where number of major companies & vendors of radiological equipment such as Kodak, AGFA, GE , Siemens Medical Solutions, Philips, Boston Scientific, Hitachi, Al Mana, ATIAH, ETHICON, Micro-vasive, CORDIS , MEDIC and SCHERING will participate in RSSA Technical Exhibition by presenting their latest medical products.
RSSA is devoted to the advancement of Radiological clinical applications & medical imaging technology through education and research.
