This unique joint venture marks Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa as the first and only resort in the UAE to provide guests with this exclusively convenient service.

Inspired by the directive of Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister General HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to enhance the relationship between government and private sectors, Brigadier Saeed Mater Bin Belelah, Head of the Dubai Immigration and Naturalization Residency Department and Abdin Nasralla, General Manager, Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, have agreed to provide this service to guests of the resort to improve the tourist's hospitality experience in Dubai.

This service still legally requires that passports are presented prior to the issuance of the card and, of course, similar charges as at the Dubai Airport will apply.

"Bab Al Shams offers a magical desert experience for our guests," said Abdin Nasralla, General Manager of Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, "With this enhanced service available, guests will have one less thing to worry about and more time to enjoy themselves.
