Mid East's largest wedding expo begins tomorrow

The Bride Show Dubai 2005, the Middle East's largest and most distinguished exhibition for wedding day organisers and brides-to-be, will be opened on Tuesday by HH Sheikha Roudha bint Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

HH Sheikha Roudha, along with 100 VVIP guests, will make a private tour of the show, with the official opening being followed by a spectacular cultural dance sponsored by Damas.

"We are extremely honoured to have HH Sheikha Roudha on board to make the show an even bigger success this year, "said Charlotte Proudman, Event Manager, The Bride Show Dubai 2005.

"This will be the start of four exciting days to come and is definitely an event not to be missed. "

HH Sheikha Roudha will also be taken to the show's special demonstration area which will include live displays on cake decorating, hair and make up demos by top industry experts as well as presentations on cosmetic tattoos, body art and jewellery making. Dr.Mariam Matar, a distinguished member of the Dubai Ladies Club and Mohammed Al Marzugi, one of UAE's most renowned etiquette experts will both conduct special seminars at the demo area.

"There are over 200 exhibitors at this year's show representing the whole spectrum of the wedding sector and it's an excellent platform for them to be part of UAE's lucrative bridal industry," added Proudman.

The Bride Show Dubai 2005 runs until Friday 15 April and features over 20 fashion shows by leading international and regional designers. The highly anticipated Swarovski Young Designers Award will form the grand finale of the exhibition.

The Bride Show 2005 is under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Ladies Club.
