SITA INC Airport & Desktop Services Project Delivery operations certified to ISO 9001:2000 standard

The certification covers airport & desktop related projects delivery in the Middle East, Africa, South & Central Asia and Asia Pacific regions.

SITA INC provides global business solutions as a contribution to a more safe, secure and efficient air transport industry with a presence in virtually every country and territory in the world. The Airport & Desktop Services (ADS) supports the successful deployment of applications and desktop environment across the customer base offering services to around 750 air transport industry members, all major computer reservation systems, airports, aerospace companies, logistics organizations and governments, with more than 1,800 customers, supporting them globally in more than 2100 locations in over 220 countries and territories.

Based on the results of a formal audit conducted by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), on December 01st 2004, the projects delivery arm of SITA INC were recommended and awarded the ISO 9001: 2000 formal certification. DNV is a leading international certification body accredited by Norwegian Accreditation for certification of management systems, products & personnel and for CE marking according to EU directives. Established in 1864, DNV is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and has a global network of about 300 offices in 100 different countries across the globe.
