Hilton's Abu Dhabi property was given the award during a ceremony held last week at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
The winners were decided by the readers of Business Traveller Middle East who voted for their preferred travel suppliers in 23 different categories, making the awards the leading independent poll of travel consumers in the region.
'We are naturally honoured to receive this prestigious award and, as Abu Dhabi is a city enjoying strong occupancy growth, we believe we offer business travellers the services they need. We hope this award means we will welcome even more business travellers to Hilton Abu Dhabi in coming months,' said Jean Welti, General Manager at Hilton Abu Dhabi.
A key factor in winning the award is the Executive Floor Lounge available at Hilton Abu Dhabi. The Lounge has a dedicated service team and a complimentary bar that offers pre-drink canapés. The Executive Lounge also provides breakfast and snacks, international newspapers and magazines and a business center with secretarial assistance, as well as services such as Fax, Internet, photocopying and a courier service.
Other services enjoyed by business travellers include complimentary limousine pick-up service for Abu Dhabi International Airport and express check-in facilities. Executives also get access to the Hiltonia Beach club, a luxurious beach club surrounded by lush vegetation, palm trees and restaurants. Sports facilities include a fully equipped gym, tennis and squash courts.
Hilton Abu Dhabi's dining facilities are known to be among the best in the city, a fact noted by What's On magazine, which recently selected 'Hemmingway's' restaurant as the 'Best American Restaurant' in Abu Dhabi and Al Mawal as the 'Best Lebanese Restaurant' in the city. The Vasco's restaurant in the hotel received a special General Manager's recommendation during the annual event.
