- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai Internet City returns to Saudi Gitex, this year, with a selection of dynamic and innovative business partners from the entire ICT industry spectrum.
As with last year's successful event, Dubai Internet City is seeking to further strengthen ties with the ICT industry in Saudi Arabia and provide a platform for Business Partners to maximise the impact of their products and services within the Kingdom.
"There's no denying the importance and value of Saudi Arabia's contribution to the economy of the region," says Jamal Abdulsalam, Director of Partner Relations at Dubai Internet City. "The Community Zone at Gitex Saudi offers a strategic platform for our Business Partners joining us at this event to strengthen their brands and further develop ties with the Saudi market."
"The Kingdom's potential for ICT consumption is increasing due to factors such as the recent liberalisation of the telecommunications industry, which is enhancing the adoption of new communications and media technologies there."
Last year, Saudi Arabia saw the IPO of Saudi Telecommunications Corporation (STC) and the implementation of mobile licensing for competition to open up more opportunities in the Kingdom.
