Speeding accounted for 63% of traffic violations in Dubai for the first three months of 2005, according to the Dubai Traffic Department. Dubai police registered 186,626 offences for speeding, 17,108 for obstruction of traffic, 5,586 for reckless driving and 5,290 for jumping red lights.
