Swift network extends to China - 3 new offices launched

In an aggressive move to extend its network coverage to the People's Republic of China, the Swift Group has effective from 10th of May 2002, launched 3 new offices in Mainland China.
The launch of these offices takes the tally of Swift's offices to an impressive 31, spreading across the Middle East, Africa & the Far East. "Although we are just launching these offices, they are not at all young in terms of experience, infrastructure or know-how. We all have spent months in planning & the setting up of these offices..." Remarked Mr. Herbert Liou, MD of Swift/COAG North China. "... and top priority was to make sure that the offices be launched only once they were operationally equipped to service all logistical requirements of our clients" The offices will be managed by Mr. Herbert Liou as Managing Director, North China and Mr. Joseph li as Managing Director, South China. In addition to these gentlemen, each of the offices will be headed by their respective domicile managers.
