- PRESS RELEASE
Damas, the internationally renowned jeweler brings to Dubai the much-awaited 'Elements of Life' collection from Mikimoto.
The 'Elements of Life' collection from Mikimoto is inspired by the mystery of the four elements: earth, water, fire and air. The mysterious combination and permutation of which leads to form and function, in both the realized and unrealized worlds. "As pioneers in the technique of cultured pearls more than a century ago, with this collection Mikimoto move effortlessly on to the next plane of design, combining exquisitely graded sapphires with choice Alloya, South Sea and Tahiti cultured pearls, in designs with true Japanese dedication to the aesthetics of form, line and workmanship," said Mr. Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director, Damas Jewellery, adding, " Damas presents the first two, 'Fire' and 'Ocean' range in Mikimoto's 'Elements of Life' collection featuring necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings."
Bewitching and unusual the 'Ocean' range is inspired by the element of water. As the source of all life forms, water represents purity, holding the power to cleanse negativity. And thereby allowing, the emergence of purity. Its twin function being, the role of sustainer of all life. The play of sunlight on the ocean's waves reflects an unbelievable array of colours, which Mikimoto interprets in graduated shades of blue sapphires and white pearls. The first of the 'Elements of Life' collection to be launched, 'Ocean' is calm and cool, with a hidden power all its own.
The most dramatic of all the elements, fire is symbolic of light and heat. It is endowed with the unique power to dispel the darkness of ignorance and give the assurance of warmth. It is dynamism and intensity of purpose. Aspects interpreted in the 'Fire' collection of Mikimoto in graduated shades of pink sapphires and Tahitian black cultured pearls. Hypnotique creations, it is a range to which you will be drawn to irresistibly. Both the 'Ocean' and 'Fire' range of Mikimoto's 'Elements of Life' are available at Damas Les Exclusive Boutiques.
