DCCI to host workshops for 'Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award' applicants

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) today conducted a workshop for the applicants of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award, the most prestigious award in the Middle East.

Held at the chamber premises in Dubai, this is the first in a series of exclusive workshops that the DCCI is planning to host across the U.A.E. to support the applicants for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum awards (MRM business award). Similar workshops will be organised in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Commenting on the workshop, Mr. Abdul Rahman G. Al Mutaiwee, Director General of the DCCI said: "This educational workshop will provide applicants with initial insights and answer questions about the application process, assessment criteria and the benefits of participating in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award."

All companies that operate under the award categories of export, re-export, finance and industry (manufacturing) were invited to attend the workshop which introduced the award and explained the assessment criteria that that will be used as a benchmark to award the best run businesses in UAE.

The workshop also focused on the benefits of participating in the award in addition to providing detailed information about the application process to help the applicants embark on the path of healthy competition.

The DCCI will conduct the workshops in the other emirates in co-ordination with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) & Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI). The workshop at the SCCI will be held on April 20, followed by one at the ADCCI on April 24 and at the Hilton Ras Al Khaimah on April 26.

DCCI has also recently announced the launch of a dedicated website for its prestigious Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (MRM) Business Award allowing business firms in the UAE to register online for the country's leading business award aimed at boosting business excellence and enterprise.
