Nissan, Renault pool resources

Nissan importers will start managing sales of Renault vehicles in the UAE and Oman from April 2005. Under the plan Arabian Automobiles in Dubai and the northern emirates and Almasaood Automobiles in Abu Dhabi will sell and service both Renault and Nissan vehicles. In Oman Suhail Bahwan will handle sales and servicing of both types of car. The agreement marks a new stage in pooling the two automakers' commercial resources while keeping brand identities separate, according to a Nissan statement.
