Computer Associates sponsors Entrepreneurs in Dubai
- United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, April 19 - 2005 at 15:32
- PRESS RELEASE
Computer Associates, one of the world's largest independent management software companies, today announced its sponsorship of the Entrepreneurs in Dubai - The International Entrepreneurship Forum and Exhibition (IEFE) 2005.
Computer Associates will also showcase its Total Protection solution at the Entrepreneurship Exhibition running in parallel with the forum. Total Protection provides a complete one stop solution for best-in-class anti-virus, backup, anti-spyware and desktop migration portfolio of products, packaged to meet the specific needs of the SMB segment.
"CA's sponsorship comes as part of its commitment to the small and medium businesses (SMB) initiative in the Arab countries." said Ned Jaroudi, regional marketing director for CA and member of the member of the Young Arab Leaders Organization. "IEFE gives us the opportunity to meet and network with SMB owners and reinforces our strategy to address the challenges facing their technology infrastructure."
Computer Associates launched its SMB campaign in 2005 as a result of the rapid emergence of this sector in the Arab countries. "The SMB market is highly significant in this region and deserves our strategic focus and dedication. We foresee greater technology investments by business owners within this sector." added Jaroudi.
CA's stand (D06) is located in Hall 8 at the Dubai World Trade Center and welcomes all investors, partners and visitors to learn more about CA's SMB initiative and Total Protection solutions.
Jessica Sutherland, General Manager of event co-organizers IIR Exhibitions Middle East said: "The exhibition at Entrepreneurs in Dubai is specifically aimed at encouraging interaction between service providers and SMB businesses. The correct technology in the start-up phase can be vital for any SMB. Mistakes can be costly and damaging and appropriate IT advice is crucial to any forward-thinking business plan."
Entrepreneurs in Dubai is endorsed by the United Nations Conference On Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and is being co-organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders in cooperation with Young Arab Leaders.
