Iraq resumes oil through Turkey

Iraq has officially resumed crude exports to Turkey's Mediterranean port of Ceyhan, according to a State Oil Marketing Organization official. Oil exports through Turkey, previously averaging 350,000 bpd from Kirkuk oil fields, have repeatedly been stopped by insurgency sabotage. In trading, US light crude gained $1.92 to close at $52.29 per barrel while London Brent moved up $2.16 to $52.94 per barrel.
