Batelco and Ahli United Bank announce new service for SimSim customers

Batelco and Ahli United Bank - Bahrain (AUBB) have announced a convenient new electronic refill service for the bank's SimSim mobile pre-paid customers.

Starting this week, AUBB customers will be able to refill their SimSim accounts via the bank's customer service channels - starting with the bank's Contact Center and followed by the bank's e-banking channels.

"This service is designed to make life easier for a big group of our customers," explains Abdulwahed Zainal, General Manager - Customer Services at Batelco. "We are providing a flexible and simple method of refilling SimSim mobile pre-paid accounts which means that customers can refill SimSim accounts simply by making a phone call from home, office or via mobile phone while on the go."

"We are delighted that AUBB customers can now enjoy the ease and convenience of topping up their Batelco SimSim accounts via our Contact Center," says Abdulla Al Raeesi, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at AUB (Bahrain). "This is another step in our efforts to provide customers with faster and more convenient banking and Batelco has worked closely with us over recent months to ensure the best possible service for our mutual customers."

In addition, customers can refill SimSim accounts from outside of Bahrain, which means one less thing to worry about while traveling abroad. Batelco and AUBB are also planning on extending the service through the bank's e-banking channels in the near future, to give customers even greater flexibility by offering yet another channel to ensure they can connect with colleagues and loved ones.

"Our new service - together with Batelco's raft of other convenient ways to refill SimSim mobile prepaid accounts and buy talktime - illustrates Batelco's unrivalled commitment to providing our customers with the very best that technology and customer care has to offer," says Abdulwahed.

Batelco currently provides SimSim refill services via NBB, BBK, Al Shamil Bank and now Ahli United Bank.
