MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) signs sponsorship agreement

MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) signed a sponsorship agreement in support of Bahrain's premiere FutureIT 2005 Conference and Exhibition.

The agreement was signed at the New Convention Centre at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) announcing MTC-Vodafone's exclusive Diamond Sponsorship.

In commenting on this agreement, Dr. Marwan Al Ahmadi, Chief Operating Officer at MTC-Vodafone stated: "Once again, we are very pleased to extend our support as the exclusive Diamond Sponsor of FutureIT 2005. We believe that this strong partnership will present MTC-Vodafone and the Bahrain Internet Society as leaders in their respective fields. MTC-Vodafone is keen to provide its latest technology offering in the ICT arena to its customers and will be showcasing our products and services at our stand at the FutureIT 2005 Exhibition. MTC-Vodafone looks forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with Bahrain's Internet and IT community. "

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy, Chairman of Bahrain Internet Society, "We are pleased to have MTC-Vodafone as our exclusive Diamond Sponsor. With the new thrust and local leading position that MTC-Vodafone earned within their first year in operation, we are confident that this relationship will bring about remarkable benefits for the delegates and visitors at the FutureIT 2005 Conference and Exhibition."

Also present were, Waleed Kanoo, CEO of Creative Knowledge, Hala Suleiman, PR Manager of MTC-Vodafone (Bahrain) and witnessed by senior government officials from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
