British Airways increases Beirut-London flights

In response to passenger demand, British Airways is to increase its seven weekly Beirut-London flights to eight from June 13th to October 28th.

The present flights leave Beirut at 09.45 each morning, arriving London Heathrow at 1 p.m., and the extra flight will leave Beirut on Sunday at 09.15, to arrive at 12.30 p.m.

The service features Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, offering both Club World, with ergonomically designed cradle seats much favoured by regular fliers, and World Traveller. Both cabins offer multi choice audio and visual channels, and a "moving map" television screen on which travellers can see exactly where the aircraft is on its route.

The Beirut-London route is operated by British Airways franchise partner British Mediterranean Airways.

Naji Mahdi, Country Commercial Manager Lebanon, British Airways, said, "Following the events of last September, our capacity on some routes was reduced and we are pleased to be able to introduce this additional flight for the peak summer period, as demand increases once more."
