Another goal reached by Budget Car Rental

Reaching another goal in its development plans, and in continued support of the government initiative to encourage and develop Bahrainis in the workforce, Budget Car Rental announced that it has reached 60 per cent Bahrainisation.

This figure is up from 55% in the month of November last year and reflects a constant growth in Bahrainisation over the last 5 years.

Mr Jacob Thomas, General Manager of Budget Car Rental said: "It is important that we develop young nationals to be a part of our organisation. That is why, in our recruitment programme, we look to appoint young and enthusiastic Bahrainis who understand the value of working with a global company which is able to offer comprehensive training in order to take up challenging jobs at various levels."

He added, "It is not merely the recruitment and the training programme that helps us to achieve high level of Bahrainisation, but also our strong employee retention programme which helps us retain our staff thereby enabling continuity in our quest for excellent customer service."

The appointment of Mr. Sidiq Khalil E. Salman and Mr. Sadiq Jaffer S. Aldibbah brought the percentage of Bahrainis to 60% of the total workforce.

Budget Car Rental is part of the Abdulla Yousif Fakhro organisation, which is one of the longest established in Bahrain and has played a leading role in the development of the Bahrain economy and society since its inception in 1888.
