Almasa IT Distribution appointed by Borwise to provide hardware for laptops and desktop computers

Almasa IT Distribution, the reseller's first choice for sourcing leading IT hardware and networking solutions in the Middle East have announced that it has just signed a contract to supply Borwise, in Tunisia with IT hardware components to help build the new Borwise laptops and desktops.
Almasa IT Distribution will be providing several leading hardware products including FOXCONN (MB, CHASIS), GALAXY (VGA) and HDD (MAXTOR) to the Tunisian based company. Borwise launched the production of laptops and desktops last month and have promised Tunisian customers A-brand quality at aggressive prices.
Mr Ebrahim Kojouri, Deputy Managing Director for Almasa IT Distribution commented "With all of Almasa IT Distributions experience in the industry and local markets, we are pleased to have formed this relationship with Borwise. Our reputation of only distributing high quality brands and products will assist Borwise in providing competitive products".
The total addressable desktop PC market in Tunisia last year was estimated to be 110,000 units, and consumer ownership is around the 3% mark. Borwise currently has a production capacity of 30,000 units per year and will initially manufacture desktops and laptops. Plans are also in place for Borwise to produce LCD monitors, with room for expansion as sales grow.
