Avaya EMEA directors due in Gulf

Two EMEA directors of Avaya, a global leader in voice and data networks, are due in the Gulf next month to head up a road show centred around the company's latest cutting-edge SYSTIMAX(R) cabling solution.

Matias Peluffo, Technical Director for Connectivity Solutions, Avaya, EMEA, and James Donovan, Strategy and Development Director for Connectivity Solutions EMEA will be in Dubai and Riyadh to outline the future of enterprise infrastructure planning to architects, consultants, engineers and end users as well as Avaya's business partners.

¡§Both directors played key roles in the evolution of SYSTIMAX,,µ and their insights will greatly assist the development of the Gulf sector, which is experiencing a growth rate unmatched by most other regions,¡¨ said Martin Hennessey, Sales Director, Connectivity Solutions Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Greece, Avaya.

Peluffo, an Avaya Labs Member of Technical Staff is also a key member of the company's structured cabling solutions international standardisation team.

Donovan, previously Avaya's SYSTIMAX(R) Technical Director, is responsible for the strategic development of the company's structured cabling operation.

The road show will be held at the Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai on June 4th before moving on to the Sheraton Riyadh Hotel and Towers on June 9th. Entitled ¡¥Go For Goal. SYSTIMAX(R) SCS ¡V The Ultimate Performer' it will focus on the GigaSPEED XL Solution ¡V the latest addition to the SYSTIMAX(R) family. The product exceeds four-fold the Category 6 draft standards for network performance in Local Area Networks (LANs) as outlined by the ISO/IEC (Class E) and Telecommunications Industry Association.

¡§The road show will help industry address legitimate infrastructure concerns. With technology developing as rapidly as it is, it is imperative any long-term infrastructure has an inherent scalability to keep pace,¡¨ said Hennessey.
