The Internet penetration in UAE is one of the highest in the region with penetration rate of 9.6% at the end of 2004, according to a report by the Arab Advisers Group. Continued growth is predicted for 2004-2009, but at a lower rate, with much of the growth being dialup users upgrading to broadband services.
